Remove old linux kernels in one command

10 Jul 2013

Facing a nearly full hard drive on one of my linux virtual machines running in the cloud.

Fancy way to remove old kernels

However after running the command myself I noticed that apt was spitting some useful information back at me telling me about this handy little command.

sudo apt-get autoremove

After running this all of the old kernels were successfully removed. You have to love the power of 'nix!
